actually the genre of this is a pretty new one... i understand why you might of got mixed up...
this is actually speedcore trance. its a mix of trance, rave and hardcore. it often has hardstyle influences in the song.
the techno style was just my little touch =] i take it your referring to the high volume 8-bitish style synth.
wow i managed to explain the song to a non-musician lol
